MMS Resources is a business pillar of MMSGI, established in 2012. Its core activities focus on coal production and trading, with main operations located in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, and Banjar, South Kalimantan.

Established in 2018 to oversee MMSGI’s property sector, MMS Land is engaged in the management and development of residential and commercial properties. In addition, MMS Land also develops and manages data centers.

PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) is a coal mining company that has been operating in Indonesia since 1987. It is located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency and Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province.

PT Cemerlang Asa Mandiri (CAM) is a mining company and one of the business units under the MHU Group. It is located in West Kutai, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

CORE MANAGEMENT

Margareta
President Director

Margareta became President Director of MHU in 2023 and served as Director since early 2020. Margareta has built her career in the coal mining industry since 2009. She joined PT Mitra Maju Sukses in 2011 as Finance Manager, in 2014 she was promoted as Division Head of Finance and Accounting. She moved to PT Mitra Asia Cemerlang (MAC) in 2015, then one year later she was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) until 2020. Margareta’s initial career started with PT Mega Global Energy (a member of LG Group in coal and mining industry) as Section Head of Accounting in the period of 2009-2011. Margareta holds a bachelor’s degree in Computerized Accounting from Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta.

Achmad Zuhraidi
Director

Achmad Zuhraidi was appointed as Director of MHU in early 2013. Prior to that, he was a Director of Standard Chartered Bank, Jakarta. Having significant experience in the financial and banking industry, his professional career was built, among others, in Bank DBS Indonesia (with his last position as Vice President Investment Banking) and Deutsche Bank AG (with his last position as Vice President Corporate Banking). His initial employment was spent, among others, at Sigma Batara, Unocal Indonesia, and Mitra Infokonsultasi. Achmad Zuhraidi is a graduate of Bandung Institute of Technology, majoring in Information Technology, and holds a master’s degree in Financial Management from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.

Faiz Firdaus Fauzan
Director

Faiz has been MHU’s Director since 2023. Having spent significant time in the mining industry since 1995, Faiz was Sr. Mining Engineer at BHP Minerals Indonesia (1995-2000), Project Manager at Petrosea (2000-2007), Project Manager at Madhani Talatah Nusantara (2007-2010), General Manager at Partner Resources Indonesia (2010-2013), Project Manager at Leighton Contractors Indonesia – Thiess Contractors Indonesia (2013-2017), then appointed as Chief Operation at Multi Harapan Utama in 2017. Faiz obtained a bachelor’s degree from UPN Veteran University, Yogyakarta, with a major in Mining Engineering.

Ilham Nugraha
Director

Ilham Nugraha is the Director of PT MMS, a dynamic company specializing in delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of its diverse clientele. With a strong background in leadership and strategic management, Ilham has successfully driven the company’s growth by fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. His expertise spans business development, operational efficiency, and building long-lasting client relationships, enabling PT MMS to thrive in competitive markets. Passionate about innovation and results, Ilham is committed to steering the company toward sustainable success and creating value for stakeholders.

Edmund Tan
Director

Edmund was appointed as Director of MHU in 2023. Prior to joining MHU, Edmund began his senior-level position at Bayan Resources (2005-2019). Then, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Mitra Asia Cemerlang. Edmund has also served as a Commissioner at Mitra Murni Perkasa. Edmund earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
